The practice of the firm includes international and domestic business law, as well as intellectual property and entertainment law through the Los Angeles office and through overseas offices with whom we are in cooperation. In its specialized areas of practice, the firm has resources and capabilities matched only by the largest area law firms. Its fee structure, however, provides rates to clients that compare favorably to the large firms. The firm has built a practice of maintaining effective representation and finding creative solutions by integrating imagination with the goal of providing the best client services available under the law. Our international lawyer team and staff speaks English, German, Hungarian, French, and Polish.
Our Approach and our Team
We believe in long-term relationships with our clients and many of our retainers date back with us to the mid-1990’s. We are a specialized firm that is as big as a practice group at a large firm, but small enough to maintain a personal connection with those we serve. We think long-term in recommending solutions as well, offering a ‘big picture’ approach that enables client and lawyer to arrive at optimal, informed decisions.
Within our team, we have many separate substantive practice specialties as well as an in-house language bank that includes the French, German, Hungarian, and Polish languages. Consequently, often two or more of our team will cooperate on a case to simultaneously maximize our professional service and our communications. The firm interacts with corresponding law firms in many European countries including Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland and Switzerland, and the firm has established contacts to lawyers in New York City, San Francisco, Cleveland and other major US cities.
Our clients hail from many countries and US states and their activity spans several industry groups including software licensing, environmental technologies, industrial manufacturing, furniture and fashion distribution, real estate acquisition and sales, food and beverage distribution, and the automotive and aviation industries among others. Many of our clients maintain a high profile in the media and in the visual arts, as well as television and music.
